My college friends and I decided to hit the road and go on a fun road trip to Nashville. We knew we were up for scenic views, so we bought our cameras along. We passed by Sevier Park. Located at Granny White Pike, we really had fun touring the place. Sevier certainly isn't a big park. In fact, you can probably tour the whole place on foot in less than a half an hour. Also, it has several swing sets that will make you feel like a kid again!
After that, still feeling adventurous, we went to Fall Creek Falls State Park. There, we were greeted by oak wood trees and other plants. Laced with cascades, gorges, waterfalls, streams, and lush stands of virgin hardwood timber, the park really is catered to those who wants to appreciate the beauty of nature. This is the perfect place to just enjoy the view and to just walk and stroll along the Bermuda grass-laden walk way! We really had fun and was really amazed with the beauty that we saw in Fall Creek Falls State Park.
Then, we went to The Hermitage Hotel to grab our late lunch. Although a bit pricey, the food is excellent. The interiors were really well-made, and the ambiance, perfect! We enjoyed their buffet, and went for three rounds! That is how tasty the food at The Hermitage Hotel is!
After that, we went to our last destination for the road trip, and that was Belcourt Theater! This is the only independent theater in Nashville, and they really have a cool line up of acts. During our visit, they were showing this indie film, and since we are Film majors, we really had a great time watching the film, and discussing the quite confusing plot of the movie! And the added bonus, they sell yummy popcorn! A really nice treat to pair with a great movie!
