My Perfect Weekend... |
|
| Visiting country music loving Nashville during the weekend means a jam-packed weekend full of different activities from club and bar hopping, shopping and sightseeing. Those were just some of the things we did when some of my friends and I spent the weekend in Nashville walking around and having fun, of course. We're from Memphis and we wanted to try new and exciting things in Nashville. We didn't want to spend too much for the lodging so I called my close friend Gail living in Nashville and she was so cool to let us stay in her house for the weekend. She even showed us around Nashville! After our special breakfast at a friend's house, we went to Country Music Hall of Fame Museum and saw many historical music records, instruments and other important collections. After touring the museum, I had a deeper appreciation of music, country music in particular. We had lunch at Jack's Bar-B-Que at 416 Broadway. I loved their barbeques and sauces. I didn't have any complaints as well about the service and the ambiance. Tennessee Pork Shoulder was my choice for lunch. I also had a slice of their Chocolate Fudge Pie. Among other places we visited were Belmont Mansion, Club Cubase and Opry Mills. I loved Opry Mills! It's one of the best shopping centers I've visited. We also went to Robert's Western World. It's a cool western bar which serves affordable beer. They also play live country music. The Perfect Weekend in Nashville went to fast for us and we will be sure to come back for another Perfect Weekend. |
