Soul Series

John Mayer Comes to Sommet Center

With the release of his latest album, “Battle Studies,” sensational singer and songwriter John Mayer will kick start his North American tour by performing at the Sommet Center on February 10, 2010, featuring special guest Michael Franti & Spearhead. Antiques and Garden Show

Nashville’s Antiques and Garden Show is one of the most prestigious shows of its kind in the country. And now on its 20th year, the Antiques and Garden Show of Nashville will feature more than 150 antique and horticultural booths and landscape gardens. The show will be held at the Nashville Convention Center on February 11-13, 2010. 

The Black Eyed Peas

The dynamic, 3-time Grammy Award winning group, Black Eyed Peas will bring their party-hardy music to Sommet Center on February 12, 2010. In support of their number one, multi-platinum album, “The E.N.D.,” the group’s concerts will emulate the party vibe of rockin’ night clubs throughout the country. To make the party atmosphere even more exciting, the Black Eyed Peas enlisted the talents of guest DJs, plus brilliant new act LMFAO and superstar rapper Ludacris. Heart of Country Antiques Show

Heart of Country Antiques Show is the granddaddy of American antiques shows. Antique dealers and collectors across America travel to Nashville to find one-of-a-kind treasures and participate in activities and walk-in presentations. The Heart of Country Antiques Show will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel on February 18-20, 2010. Admission costs $10 which includes all exhibits and lectures. Parking is free and there is also a free shuttle service.

Fiddler’s Antique Show

Like the Heart of Country Antiques Show, the Fiddler’s Antique Show will also be holding its annual event at the Fiddler’s Inn Hotel on February 18-20, 2010. The show will allow hotel rooms to be turned into wholesale and retail shops so that merchants and dealers won’t have to part with their merchandise. Admission costs $7.00.

Madea’s Big Happy Family Starring Tyler Perry

Tyler Perry once again revives his beloved family matriarch for a live show full of laughter and light-hearted banter at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on February 24, 2010. Tickets are now on sale for $57 and $67.

Eric Clapton at the Sommet Center

Watch guitar god and music legend Eric Clapton perform his own unique brand of rock and roll at the Sommet Center with guest star Roger Daltrey. Tickets are now on sale for $92.00, $72.00 and $52.00.

Playhouse Disney Live

Kids will have a great time singing, dancing and playing with their favorite Playhouse Disney Characters this February in Nashville. Watch as Mickey parties with all of his Clubhouse friends. Go on a musical mission with The Little Einsteins with the help of Rocket, their red spaceship. Join Darby, Tigger and Pooh in their search for music in the Hundred Acre Woods.
